In February we were able to welcome Kevin Boekema and his Dad. Kevin is a young man , 17 years of age, very interested in pigeons, especially the Holle Cropper. 6 Months before we met for the first time, at the young bird show in Vries. Kevin decided there that he wanted black Holle Croppers, we promised him we would help out. |

His Father took the trouble to built him a new loft, suitable for 4 pairs and some young birds. It took a while, but now all is finished and the birds can be homed. Kevin is living in the same street as Holle legend Piet Hiemstra, so there must be some guarantee for success. While visiting Kevin and his dad wanted to be informed on almost everything they saw, so they can make a good start in the pigeon fancy. We lent them a pair of blacks, from our best bloodlines. After breeding season we will see what we can do more to help them out. | |
